Luminary Harvest Celebration Weekend

This weekend will mark a fabulous kickoff to Napa Valley’s much anticipated Harvest Season with signature events at Stony Hill, Burgess, and The Home Ranch, and pay homage to the spirit of community among the Napa Valley's pioneering families in its golden age.
Tickets for these intimate events can be purchased individually or as a package.
Space is limited for each of these intimate events, so we encourage securing tickets as soon as possible.
Day 1: Thursday, September 3rd
Welcome Reception
The Residence at Stony Hill

Please join Winemaker Reid Griggs, Estate Director Erik Elliott MS, and the Stony Hill team for a celebratory kickoff to Luminary Harvest Weekend, complete with new releases and library wines paired with elegant canapés.

Burgess Magnum Decades Tasting
Burgess Estate

First planted in the 1880s by Swiss-Italian immigrants, Sorenson Vineyard has been the beating heart of Burgess for more than 150 years. Winemaker Reid Griggs and Master Sommelier Carlton McCoy will lead a tasting and discussion about 10 older vintages from this iconic vineyard across 5 decades, all served from Magnum and larger bottles, the optimum sizes for long-term aging.

Lunch with Winemaker Matt Taylor
The Home Ranch
12:30PM - 2:00PM
Enjoy a family style lunch at The Home Ranch in St. Helena with Winemaker Matt Taylor, where he will talk about his wines from Ink Grade, Haynes Vineyard, and Trailside Vineyard. You’ll enjoy wines from each winery as this veteran winegrower describes each terroir and his winemaking philosophy and methodology.

La Paulée Celebration Dinner
The Home Ranch
5:00PM - 9:00PM
Heitz Cellar honors the historic Burgundian tradition of La Paulée with a feast to celebrate the bounties of harvest. Join us at our private estate for a Champagne reception with passed hors d'oeuvres, followed by a lavish meal by celebrity chef, Shota Nakajima. Each course will be paired with pre-release and library wines from Heitz Cellar.
Transportation will be provided from Yountville to The Home Ranch.
